After reading some blogs tonight, I realized I failed to spend a moment giving tribute to the 2 best fathers in my life for Father's Day. Sorry! Matt is an amazing father. The girls absolutely adore him and hang on his every word. He makes them giggle, he makes them feel better, he teaches them about football...excuse me, the UTES, he teases them, he reads with them, he rubs their legs in the middle of the night, HE LOVES THEM. They love you Matt! I love you! Thank you for being such a wonderful father. Your daughters are so blessed! (and so am I!)
This is my super cool dad, bodysurfing in Kauai. My dad has always been my hero. He was always my moral compass growing up. He would come into my bedroom late at night if he saw my light on and check up on me. These are some of my most memorable moments...just me and my dad talking. He always had good advice and ideas for me. He always challenged me to think outside my box...is that always a good thing? :) My dad is a fun, energetic, deep, hardworking, loving, goofy, SURFER, kid at heart, dad, papa, friend, confidant...he is my hero...he is my dad! I love you dad. Thank you for 30 blessed years (and so many more to come) as your daughter.
