Human Motorboat

I caught this shot about 5 seconds too late, but you can still get the gist of it! This is my brother Tyler, doing what he does best, teaching swimming lessons. You'll also see Peyton (3 from the left), then Caroline, my cousin, and Josie Harrison on the other side of Tyler. They are just finishing up the human motorboat. Tyler spreads his gigantic arms out and all the kids grab on. He then proceeds to walk around the pool as the kids kicking become the motor of the motorboat! It's always a hit, and it's always a little nerve-racking watching to make sure your kid isn't the one to let go and lose the boat! Tyler is amazing with these kids. It's so fun to have him teaching Peyton. She loves him and loves swimming! I can't get her out of the pool! She'll be racing any day now! We are having a great summer! It's a really hard life being the mother of little children who love to swim. Here's a breakdown of our day....8:00 a.m. or so: wake up, eat something
9:10 a.m. shalack on the sunscreen, put on suits
9:30 a.m. leave for the Tennis Club
(www.saltlakeswimandtennis.com/)
10-10:45 Birkley Swim to Win swim team
11:00 snacks-reapply sunscreen
11:30 Birkley stroke development swim lesson
12:00 Peyton swim lesson - reapply sunscreen
12:30-whenever....eat lunch (nicely packed by mom in travelling cooler!) swim, relax, read books, play with friends, swim, swim, swim, swim
3:00-ish pack up and go home completely exhausted
5:30 p.m. eat dinner
8:o0 p.m. (if they can make it) girls to sleep!

So, as you can see...life is really tough at the moment! WE LOVE SUMMER!

Bree- Your day at the pool with the kids brings back such great memories. Me and your mom had the same schedule. Wait until you have to throw in a swim meet, then you will never get home!
