My Baby is Three!

Isn't she amazing! I can't really fathom that Peyton is three years old! June 9 came really fast this year! The day before Peyton was born, three years ago, I was standing in a line getting my picture taken at my sister Tess' wedding. I was busting at the seams, my shoes were too small because my feet were so swollen, when I went to put on my bridesmaid skirt, it didn't fit, I spent 10 minutes swearing at myself in the mirror because I had taken Birkley for KrispieKreme Donuts at 6:30 a.m. that morning, as I shimmied my skirt on. I had to sit in one place throughout the whole reception to because my skirt was practically cutting off my circulation! Needless to say, 24 hours later, this little beauty was born,

Peyton Tola Strong. 8 lbs, 6 oz. Thank goodness for epidurals! Peyton has brought us all sorts of new parenting challenges, but she has mostly brought us such undescribable joy. She is shy, quiet, snuggly, sneaky, loving, fun, silly, sisterly, contemplative, interesting, challenging, AMAZING and I love her with every bone in my body!
