In my effort to support my local businesses, I've been trying to do my shopping at this great little store, THE Store! THE Store is a cool little grocery store that has most of my needs. Here is a list the things I love the most about THE Store:
1. it has mini carts

3. they have a Schmidt's bakery inside
4. you can get a diet coke with the really yummy ice and a lime for 89 cents, drink while you shop and refill on your way out!
5. arnold palmers
6. candy galore
7. they are around the corner from Snyder's Meats (my new favorite butcher)
8. i feel like i'm supporting my community
9. their checkers are young, but smart and friendly!
10. their baggers actually take the groceries out to your car and load them for you!
11. their baggers are really sweet, cute high schoolers! (that's not creepy is it?)
12. it's my only substitute for Trader Joe's until it arrives!

Where is The Store? I need to check it out. And is TJ's coming to UTah? and When?
I love THE STORE because it smells just like my dad's (Gramps) store growing up. It is just the same good meat, produce and stuff like he had at FOODLAND that was on the corner of 4500 South and Highland Drive. It is pricey-but worth the trip because it is so small and easy to navigate in.
