So, it's almost been 2 weeks since my 75 mile bike ride, yes, you read it first here, I only did 75 miles on the MS 150 Bike Ride. Actually, I should say I
barely did 75 miles. After a lovely nights sleep in the dorms at Utah State, (the dorms haven't been remodeled since they opened and the mattresses are probably the original ones and they still don't have air conditioning, so when I say a "lovely" nights sleep, I'm using the term very lightly!), the morning of the bike ride started off great! I rode the first 20 miles with an old friend of Matt's, Matt Alba. He and I haven't seen each other in probably 2 years, and I definitely held him back, but it was fun to catch up and ride together for a little while. (Alba is one of Matt's oldest friends and was one of the first 5 people to hold both my girls in the hospital after they were born!) Once Alba got bored with me, he took off with his buddy and Tyler and Sarah and I rode the rest of the day together. I should clairfy by saying that Tyler and Sarah pulled me all day. Tyler was pretty sick all day with a horrible headache and cold, I had no leg power whatsoever and it was 95 degrees at mid-day. Tyler and Sarah pulled me all day and wouldn't let me quit and waited for me when they probably wanted to leave me on the side of the road. It was a hard day that I was not very well prepared for (that's what I get for letting my training fall by the wayside for days at the pool instead!). THANK YOU TO TYLER AND SARAH!

I was able to raise about $415 that was all donated to the National MS Society! THANK YOU to all of my friends and family who not only supported me in this crazy endeavor, but supported the National MS Society, which is a great cause and will hopefully find a cure for MS soon! The Utah MS 150 Ride had about 3000 registered riders and raised about $1.3 million dollars! How awesome is that! THANK YOU THANK YOU! I am waiting to hear back from you...
Holy cow Bree. That is awesome!!! You look great in those pictures. You were even smiling! I don't think I would ever be able to manage a smile on a ride like that. Of course I wouldn't have made it five miles. Way to go!
