The Utah Game last week fell on Halloween (big fat pain, let me tell you). After weeks of wondering what we were going to do, how we were going to get extra tickets for the kids, how we were going to ditch the kids on Halloween, etc... the day came, we had 3 extra tickets. Peyton didn't want to go to the game, I didn't want to go and chase Wilder the whole game. Matt took Birkley on a fun daddy daughter date....oh and 6 of our favorite neighbors! (all boys-don't let her fool you-she loved it!)
Not only was the game on Halloween and full of crazy dressed up people, it was Black Out! The football team wears their black uniforms and all the fans are supposed to wear black. It's pretty great. Birkley (and Matt) was totally into it, so Matt & I sprayed her hair all black, using 2 cans of hair color. Matt painted her eyebrows and we finally, talked her out of painting her face. She looked awesome!

Fun night had by all! Birkley & Matt & friends at the game, Peyton & Wilder & I at Trunk or Treat & then dinner with my parents...a nice, family friendly Halloween.
p.s. birkley took a 30 minute shower when she got home and had to wash her hair at least 4 times to get most of the black out...it was pretty gross.

can't believe that she looked completely normal by church. i would have never guessed her hair was that spray painted!!!
