I have a vague memory of sitting in the theater and watching Return of the Jedi, vague, but it's there. Matt remembers seeing it in the theater as well. Too bad we can't go see it in the theater these days..that would be great!
This morning on The Today Show, all of the hosts dressed up as the cast of characters from Star Wars. My girls kept saying.."that's what Sarah was dressed up as last night; that's what Oliver was last night; that's what Brett was last night." I proceeded to tell them it was all the characters from Star Wars and was quickly reminded they had never seen any Star Wars movies and didn't really know any of the characters. So, tonight, after having an exhausting day that consisted of pictures for the kids, lunch with my parents downtown with kids in costume, Peyton in a car accident with friends (all is well, just three shooken up 5 year olds), emergency covering at work (the driver of the accident was the cooking teacher), and a Halloween filled dirty house, we decided to have a Star Wars movie marathon. Take out from Sampan (yum-lemon chicken) and aero beds in front of the t.v. and the first 3 movies of Star Wars. Matt & I & Wilder fell asleep half way through the 2nd one, but Birkley & Peyton were champs and made it through all of 1 and 2. We had a good time.

wish i would have known about the star wars marathon....brings back memories of basement marathons at our home-really in a galaxy far, far away!!!
Brian is always asking to watch Star Wars...that equals torture to me, so I should have sent him over for the marathon.
