When my kids got older than 2, I thought I was going to sew their Halloween costumes every year. Now, you may think, "She's crazy", but I'm a good sewer! I have gazillion years of experience behind me and it seemed like a good idea...a way to make Halloween more personal, more creative, more fun...then I started sewing a couple of years ago. Of course, 3 days too late, and I ended up staying up until all hours of the night sewing the dang costumes! So, I took a different approach this year...If the kids find what they want to be at the store and it's less than $30done deal! If they can't find what they want, I'll make it! Peyton is borrowing a costume. I think we've found a costume for Wilder to borrow and Birkley found hers at the fabric store. I'm going to sew. Little did I know that they would be moving the primary Halloween party up a week and costume needs to be done today. No big deal had I packed my sewing stuff to St. George like planned....I forgot. So, I'm spending my day sewing a super cute costume for Birkley to be finished by 6:00 pm tonight. Gotta go!!!
