I Love the Canyon
I'm not into camping or hiking really at all, but I love the canyon and I love spending time there with my family and friends. When Matt and I were dating, we used to go up Big Cottonwood Canyon every Sunday night to Moss Ledge and have a fire and hang out with all his friends. He and I would spend hours on top of this huge rock talking about us and our future and what that was going to look like. Matt's friends are hilarious and we would laugh like crazy and watch what girl each one of them might bring each time. Those are wonderful memories that I think of each time I drive up that canyon. So, I'm excited to say we're trying to start our own tradition with the families of all our friends we used to spend so many nights with. We start A LOT earlier and head home A LOT earlier, and we use river water to put out the fire instead of the girls turning our backs while the boys "took care of it", and we choose areas that we can push our stroller to and where kids won't jump in the river, but we still have a great time. Here are a couple of pictures from our first outing last week. So many more to come!
