My Friend...Diet Coke

I saw a black Suburban today with a Diet Coke sticker on the back and almost followed the woman to where she was going to ask her where she got it. But, I refrained.

If you know me, you know I love Diet Coke. I drink it for breakfast in a coffee mug-currently my "Got Beans? Door of Faith Orphanage" mug, I can't really start my day without it. I drink it when I'm stressed out out. I drink it when I'm bored. I drink it at the movies. I drink it when I go out with friends. I drink it a lot.

I have many memories that involve a diet coke in my hand. When I lived in London, we would buy bottles of diet coke and rip off the plastic label and stick them on the tour bus we were riding in all around the country. In college, when I was at a party, I had a "red cup" full of diet coke rather than something else. In junior high I would have a bag of chips and a diet coke for lunch. In high school, we would take diet coke runs to Shivers instead of going to class. Diet Coke is a fond memory for me.

I know it's not good for me. I do. But, it's my friend
If you see a Diet Coke sticker, get it for me. It will go great on my Tahoe.

After a long relationship with Diet Coke, I have left (her?) for someone else. Diet Dr. Pepper.

Remembering those London moments with Diet Coke makes me feel a wee bit guilty.

Bree!!!

HAAAA! I knew I liked you! If you come to camp this summer I will share some undercover "DC" from my "cooler of life" with you. That is unless I have given up "the juice" by then. But I have been trying that for years, and it is highly unlikely. See-ya soon!

We all have our vices right? Some drink, some smoke, some eat a high fat diet and some drink tons of soda. I say, if you love it, keep on doing it. We are all going to die of something someday, may as well enjoy the ride.
