He's ONE

Wilder turned one on the 19th. I can't believe a year has already passed us by! I'm feeling a loss of words while trying to write this post. I'm not sure why. To think or talk or even write about Wilder is hard for me. He is my sweet little man. He brings such joy and peace into our home. He has since the day he was born! When we brought him home from the hospital, I had gotten a horrible cold (probably strep) and not only was I recovering from giving birth to a 9 lb 11oz boy, I was so sick! But, he brought a peace and comfort to me that just made me feel better-and it's never stopped! I am so grateful to be his mom. I am so grateful for the joy he has brought to our house over this past year and I'm so excited for what his future holds.






What Wilder's been up to....

..he eats whatever we put in front of him
..he is a sweet little cuddler-on his time, not mine!
...he still doesn't sleep through the night
..he loves to make his sisters laugh
..he has 10 teeth (2 of them are his top molars)
..he makes me smile every time I catch a glimpse of him
..he's a walking machine and now refuses to crawl.
..he's already a utah fan and raises his arms when you say "touchdown"!
..he loves to gives kisses and then giggles afterwards
..he loves to ride in the driving cart at the grocery cart & insists on it if he sees it
..he also insists on getting a "complimentary cone" at Macey's while we grocery shop
..he loves diet coke
..he loves his dad
..he loves to play with any sort of ball
..he's now obsessed with playing outside
..he greets his closest friends with a head butt
..he thinks he's way bigger than he really is
..he is a peacemaker in our home
..he makes everything feel better
..he loves the shower
..he can say momma, dada, baby, hi, bye, and kind of says go oooots! (utes)
..he loves his sisters-and they ADORE him
..he's becoming a real boy...not just a baby


We had a little birthday party with cupcakes and brownie sundaes with just some family on Friday night. Here are a few highlights.
