We have just returned from the first of two wedding our families are so excited to be celebrating this summer! Matt's brother Nick tied the knot with the FABULOUS Lara Harrison, Saturday, May 19, in the San Diego Temple. You may all be asking why they got married in the San Diego Temple when they, along with everyone else, live in the SLC...WHO CARES? We won't argue if it includes a trip to the beach! We had such a great weekend playing at the beach, searching for sun through the continuous cloud cover, flying kites, playing with our new friends, the Harrisons, and watching Nick and Lara create an eternal family! The wedding festivities included a tasty Mexican wedding dinner at Miguelito's (I think) on Coronado Friday night, temple ceremony and pictures Saturday morning, finishing up with pictures on the beach in La Jolla. I've never seen Nick smile so big and for so long! I think he made the right decision!

what a beautiful wedding! I wish I had such a cool family that they'd get hitched outside of the valley. Tom and I really thought about getting married in Madrid but I chickened out and opted for a reception instead...idiot!
