We actually made it to the lights this year...early. We tossed all the warm clothes in the back of the car and ran downtown on Friday night to check out Temple Square lights. It was a FREEZING day. Apparently, the FREEZING weather rolls into the night..because it was FREEZING! After bundling the kids up, we cruised around temple square to check out all the lights, the nativity, the Christus. The lights are as gorgeous as usual. Wilder kept searching for baby Jesus and begging to get out of his carseat. Birkley just wanted to go inside. Peyton just wanted to watch the nativity over and over. Although it was freezing, I'm glad we got down there to see the lights before Christmas came and went. We even had a good time!
we finished our night out with a FABO dinner at CHUBBY's..my favorite mexican joint in rosepark. we ate there once a week when we lived out there & i was pregnant with birkley. birkley & peyton love to play with their juke box while we wait for our food. we love driving through the old "hood". they have the best soft shell beef tacos & french fries! my mouth is watering just thinking about it! YUM! you've gotta try it!

Chubby's is awesome! We have not made it to the lights for a few years:~. Claire saw a pic on my sisters blog and asked if we could go to the "castle" sometime. I think the last time we went was when I was prego with her....
now i'm hungry even more. i must have these fries before this pregnancy passes. i told sean i needed a girls night after he was done with finals. tutoring money is becoming my favorite little income. we went to the lights on sat and almost came home with frost bite. definitely should have planned a hot choc purchase. i saw bob's all over temple square that night too, fyi.
