No M&M's after 7pm

I will be the first one to, tell you that I don't pay a lot of attention to the precursors to my children's behavior. For example, while nursing my babies, I never pay attention to spicy food bugging my baby or broccoli giving the baby gas. I just ate whatever and if they started acting wierd afterwards, it was just a little grumpiness or something! So, tonight as Matt was watching BOLT with the girls upstairs and I was just decompressing on the couch with a glass of diet coke, a few peanut m&m's (easter ones of course), and watching 90210 from last night, Wilder just cruising around, he saw me eating the m&m's. He can't have the peanut m&m's (or any other nuts until he's at least 2 yrs old, btw, to help prevent a nut allergy like matt's), so I got him a few regular m&m's. He LOVES m&m's! But, about an hour later, after Birkley & Peyton had already fallen asleep, who was jumping on my bed, goofing off like a little chunky monkey??? None other than Mr.Wilder Brinton Strong himself...doped up on m&m's. Finally, about 1/2 hour ago, that's 9:55 folks...Wilder finally passed out on the bed with Matt, who is also passed out.
OK-tonight I paid attention...no m&m's after 7 pm for him!

It's amazing what kids pick up on when you don't think they are..... a little scary that we are in charge here! ha...
good rule though, just to keep him sleeping by nine!
