Holiday Catch UP

Christmas came and went and one of the things I should have posted then, I didn't so I'll do it now. We annually have a great Christmas/Service party with our very close friends. This year, we were able to do something for the orphanage we visited this fall outside of Cancun, Mexico, The Door of Faith Orphanage. We had a great morning after Thanksgiving eating, stuffing stockings for the kids at the orphanage and spending time together as friends. We have an amazing group of friends, of whom I have blogged about many times. These are Matt's best friends from junior high and high school and their wives have become my best friends and our kids are great friends as well. Their loyalty never ceases to amaze me and their love for others helps me want to be a better person. So, to them I am grateful for good examples of good people and good friends who Matt and I and our kids can always count on. We are blessed to have them each be a part of our lives. So sappy-but true!

Here are some pictures from that morning of all of our kids. It seemed like yesterday that the only kids at our little get togethers were the Metcalf boys and Storheim's little Isaac..now there are a ton of kids, we're not quite sure what happened! We just let them loose on the trampoline!
