It's been so long since my last post, and I'm super overwhelmed at the thought of catching up the past 2 months, which includes xmas. So, I thought I'd start here. We got a new piano, a new OLD piano. It's a 1940's upright grand that we bought from some neighbors. I'm SO excited, I am really excited. Piano lessons for my girls, coming right up. Piano relaxing playing for me...coming right up.

really wish i played.
and i wish sean played.

and he picked the saxophone.
which he doesn't play now either.
i wonder if i could remember how to play the flute from 8th grade...
Ha! You play the piano, and you admitted it right out for everyone to read! I wish I played, I can pluck, but not play. It's very unfortunate for anyone who has to hear.I had a really similar piano when we lived in New York, but had to give it up when we moved.
The rule in our house was that we had to take piano lessons until we were 12 (I played by ear enough to fake it) and lessons in any musical instrument until we were 16. So at 12 I chose the drums. It went along with my need to be rebellious AND obnoxious as a teenager. But unfortunately as a mom, playing the drums is pretty much useless for anything but impressing my teenagers' friends if I can get near a good drum set. I hope your kids love it!
