What color do you bleed? Now, if you have grown up in this town or spent any significant amount of time here, you will know what I'm talking about. It's rivalry week! 5 more days until the BIG game.....UTAH vs. BYU ! Have you placed your bets? Are you making plans for carpooling to the game? or finding someone who has CSTV or VS. or the Mountain (at this point I have no idea what channel is covering it!)?...have you set out your team-supporting outfits for the week so you are wearing the correct color each day? Have you hung your team flag so it will fly high all week? Have you got a babysitter for the game? Well, I believe we have completed all things on this list, or at least my husband has! He has begun the week with a rivalry week lunch at Chili's with his crew...I believe the mission of the special lunch was to harrass Mauss (a cougar) as much as possible! What are you doing the day of the big game???? Who are you rooting for? How upset will your husband be if his team loses?
GO UTES!!!! (sorry no BYU pictures...I don't think my marriage would survive it!!!:) )

I will be flying my Utah flag this weekend and watching the game on TV. GO UTES!
You know me.....I kinda ride the fence on this game. I will probably cheer for the team that is winning and it will probably make my husband mad. But, I grew up a cougar and the blood runs deep. What about you....? You WERE a cougar! Are you going to the game?
I will preface my comments by stating that I have tried to be the classy one this week. However as we get closer to kick-off I feel like the "gloves have come off". Even Hoppy has gotten in on the act of ridiculing me and mocking me. The bottom line is my flag on my car is flying, my flag on my home is flying, and I will be adorned in Cougar gear the rest of the week. It is a great time of year! I just hope we are all still friends after the game. No matter who wins. We'll see! Lastly, I would like to call for no destruction to the losers homes. I acted with class(again) last year when Harline caught the game winning TD to rip out the hearts of Ute fans everywhere. I ask that the Ute fans act the same way this year if they do happen to get lucky and beat us. By the way "Harline is still open". Go Cougs!!!!!!!!!!
It was a sad going down-Jenny dressed in blue and red, sporting a red utes hat and a blue sweatshirt-Rick was in red and me in black-Nick and Lara came and we watched on the Mountain-tears, jeers and sadness at the end. Go UTES anyway!
