Am I old enough to have a kindergartener?

I know, it's all about me...but really, do I really have a kindergartener? Birkley's first day of kindergarten was one of those life-changing moments in time for me and her! (little does she know) I shed no tears, but I had butterflies in my stomach all morning while she was getting ready, I wasn't surprised she couldn't eat her breakfast because she was a little nervous. I was proud of her for being excited and independent, but a little sad when I had to remind her to come back and give me a kiss good-bye! What a day! What a new part of life! The backpack-they have to have full size backpacks and they're just about as big as them! It's so cute!
Walking to school is the best. We walk with 2 of our neighbors-Birkley's 2 best friends..we're the Regent Park Court Posse! It's so nice to have friends so close and the school so close!
5 minutes is a perfect walking time!

If you feel old Bree, how do you think I feel!?! I'm so excited to see Birkley in Kindergarten-she will be leading the class soon in every way-but she is so helpful-what else could you expect! (not to mention very bright!)
She looks so grown-up! Such is life-turn around...
Love you Birkley-Gigi
